I’m Scott, a retired Turlock firefighter and lifelong local historian. I’ve spent years collecting stories, digging through newspaper archives, public records, and old photographs to understand the stories that shaped this area — and the ones that were quietly forgotten.
Most episodes focus on historical cases and events, often decades old, with research drawn from contemporary reporting and documented records. When the story leans into folklore or the paranormal, I’ll tell you what’s known, what’s claimed, and what’s still unresolved.
